who we are

As a former Airborne Artillery Soldier and Attorney for over 20 years, I am committed to "Mission First, People Always."  That means committing all necessary resources to achieve the desired result, without forgetting the impact on those persons which I serve.

Mr. Darnell has acted as a debtor's attorney in hundreds of Chapter 7 cases and dozens of Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, and has acted as both debtor and creditor's counsel in adversary proceedings.  He has tried cases in Federal and State courts, with matters involving patents, anti-trust, shareholder disputes, construction lien/bond, and fraudulent conveyances/ successor liability.

Mr. Darnell is a board member of the City of Dexter Downtown Development Authority and the Dexter Township Zoning Board of Appeals.  His military service includes four years as a paratrooper with the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne Division, and seven years as a field artillery officer with the Michigan Army National Guard.

Mr. Darnell restored his offices as pictured, finishing the project in 2019. Originally constructed in late 1940s, it is one of the last factories in downtown Dexter. The building has three private offices plus a conference room and large private meeting room/gallery for clients. The other two units in the building are a brewery and interior designer's space.
